Terms of Service

These terms outline the responsibilities of Discover Fun Camp and participating families. Program-specific terms presented and accepted during registration may also apply.

Enrollment

Enrollment in Discover Fun Camp programs is subject to availability. Registration is confirmed after all required registration information and applicable payments have been submitted and accepted.

Parents and legal guardians are responsible for providing complete and accurate registration, emergency contact, health, allergy, medication, and other required information. All required documents must be provided by the applicable deadline and before the child attends the program.

By registering a child, submitting payment, or permitting a child to participate, the parent or legal guardian agrees to these Terms, the policies presented during registration, and the applicable Discover Fun Camp Parent Handbook.

Email and SMS Communications

Contact Information

Parents and legal guardians are responsible for providing and maintaining an accurate email address and mobile phone number. Contact information should be updated promptly whenever it changes.

Discover Fun Camp may rely on the contact information provided during an inquiry, registration, enrollment, or other interaction with DFC. Families should add Discover Fun Camp email addresses to their approved sender list and monitor spam, junk, promotions, and similar folders.

Operational and Enrollment Communications

By submitting an inquiry, registering a child, enrolling in a program, establishing a payment plan, or otherwise doing business with Discover Fun Camp, the parent or legal guardian authorizes DFC to send communications reasonably necessary to administer the inquiry, registration, enrollment, account, or program.

These communications may include:

• Responses to inquiries
• Registration and enrollment confirmations
• Payment confirmations, upcoming payment reminders, failed-payment notices, and past-due account communications
• Requests for missing forms or required documentation
• Program schedules and logistical information
• Arrival, dismissal, transportation, and location updates
• Weather, emergency, closure, and safety notifications
• Appointment, tour, event, and activity reminders
• Changes affecting a registered program or service
• Family engagement communications and program updates
• Cancellation, withdrawal, refund, credit, and makeup-token decisions
• Other service-related information necessary to administer the family’s account or the child’s participation

Operational communications may be sent by email, SMS, or both, depending on the information provided, the nature of the communication, and the communication permissions associated with the account.

Marketing Communications

When a person separately opts in to receive marketing communications, Discover Fun Camp may send emails or text messages concerning:

• Upcoming camps and programs
• Registration openings and deadlines
• Events and special activities
• Promotions, discounts, and special offers
• Program announcements and enrollment opportunities
• News and other information related to Discover Fun Camp

Consent to receive marketing email or SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or enrolling in a Discover Fun Camp program.

SMS Terms

By providing a mobile phone number and affirmatively opting in to receive text messages, the recipient consents to receive SMS communications from Discover Fun Camp at the number provided.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Recipients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After submitting a STOP request, the recipient may receive one final message confirming the opt-out. For assistance, reply HELP or contact enrollment@discoverfuncamp.com.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting out of marketing text messages does not cancel an enrollment, payment obligation, registration, or other agreement with Discover Fun Camp. When permitted by law, DFC may continue to contact a family through other available channels regarding an active inquiry, registration, account, payment, safety matter, emergency, or enrolled program.

SMS consent, mobile phone numbers, and text-messaging opt-in data will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS information may be shared with aggregators, telecommunications carriers, and service providers only as necessary to operate and deliver DFC’s text-messaging services.

Email Terms

Recipients may unsubscribe from marketing emails by selecting the unsubscribe or email-preferences link included in an applicable marketing message.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not prevent Discover Fun Camp from sending service-related or transactional emails that are reasonably necessary to administer:

• An active inquiry or registration
• A child’s current enrollment or participation
• A payment, payment plan, balance, refund, credit, or makeup token
• Required forms and documentation
• Safety, emergency, closure, or schedule information
• A request initiated by the recipient
• Another existing business or program relationship

Families who no longer wish to receive optional marketing emails may update their communication preferences without canceling their child’s enrollment.

Delivery and Receipt of Communications

Discover Fun Camp will make reasonable efforts to send communications to the email address and mobile phone number associated with the family’s record. DFC cannot guarantee that an email or text message will be delivered, opened, or reviewed because delivery may be affected by spam filters, email settings, full inboxes, blocked numbers, carrier restrictions, service interruptions, or outdated contact information.

Failure to receive or review a communication does not automatically waive a registration deadline, payment obligation, cancellation requirement, policy, or other program condition when Discover Fun Camp sent the communication using the contact information provided by the family.

Families should contact enrollment@discoverfuncamp.com if they believe they are not receiving expected communications or need to update their contact information.

Maintaining Communication Preferences

Families are strongly encouraged to remain opted in to Camp & Program Updates while they have an active registration or enrolled participant. These communications may contain important or time-sensitive information concerning schedules, locations, transportation, required documentation, payment deadlines, program changes, closures, events, and other enrollment-related details.

Discover Fun Camp will make reasonable efforts to keep families and the community informed through the contact information and communication channels available to DFC. However, to the extent permitted by law, Discover Fun Camp is not responsible for information missed or resulting consequences when a recipient chooses to unsubscribe or opt out, blocks DFC communications, provides inaccurate or outdated contact information, or fails to review messages delivered to the recipient’s email address or mobile number.

Opting out of optional or marketing communications does not cancel an enrollment, waive a payment or registration requirement, extend a deadline, or relieve a family of its responsibility to obtain information related to an enrolled program. Families who opt out are responsible for regularly reviewing their registration account and contacting enrollment@discoverfuncamp.com to obtain applicable program information.

Where permitted by law, Discover Fun Camp may continue sending essential transactional, safety, emergency, account, or enrollment-related communications through another available channel, even when a family has opted out of optional marketing communications.

Fees and Payments

Program fees are listed on the Discover Fun Camp website, registration platform, program brochure, or applicable enrollment materials. Unless Discover Fun Camp approves a payment plan or another written arrangement, payment must be completed before the applicable program or session begins.

Once registration is confirmed, the parent or legal guardian remains responsible for the full enrollment amount, regardless of the child’s attendance or subsequent withdrawal.

Non-Refundable Payments

Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by Discover Fun Camp, payments are non-refundable. This includes registration fees, tuition, club fees, after-school program payments, and other program-related charges.

Refunds will not ordinarily be provided for:

• Voluntary withdrawals
• Missed program days
• Illness
• Vacations or travel
• Schedule changes or conflicts
• Failure to attend
• Late cancellations
• Behavioral or safety-related suspension or dismissal

Cancellation by a Parent or Legal Guardian

A parent or legal guardian must submit a written cancellation request to enrollment@discoverfuncamp.com at least five days before the applicable program or session begins to be considered for a credit.

When timely notice is provided and the cancellation is approved:

• A credit or makeup token will be applied to the account of the originally registered participant
• Discover Fun Camp will deduct a 20% administrative fee from the amount paid if a credit is provided
• The remaining eligible amount will be issued as a program credit
• No cash refund or partial reimbursement will be provided

Cancellations submitted fewer than five days before the program or session begins ordinarily do not qualify for a credit.

Unforeseen Circumstances

When timely notice is not possible because of illness, an emergency, or another unforeseen circumstance, the family may contact Discover Fun Camp for individual review. Documentation may be requested.

Discover Fun Camp may issue a credit, less the 20% administrative fee, or a makeup token at its sole discretion. Review of a request does not guarantee that a credit, makeup token, or refund will be approved.

No-Shows and Missed Days

No credit or refund will be issued when a participant fails to attend without submitting a qualifying written cancellation request.

Missed days caused by illness, vacation, travel, scheduling conflicts, or other personal circumstances do not entitle the family to a refund, prorated reimbursement, replacement day, makeup token, or credit unless Discover Fun Camp expressly approves an exception in writing.

Credit Terms

Approved credits:

• Are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance
• May be applied toward eligible Discover Fun Camp programs, including summer camp, after-school programs, clubs, and special events
• May only be used for the child or children included in the original registration
• Cannot be sold, assigned, or transferred to another person or family
• Have no cash value
• Cannot be refunded or partially reimbursed if unused
• Expire if they are not used within the applicable 12-month period

Cancellation by Discover Fun Camp

If Discover Fun Camp cancels an entire program or session, affected families will be offered either:

• A full refund of the amount paid for the canceled program or session; or
• A full credit that may be applied toward a future Discover Fun Camp program or session

This provision applies when Discover Fun Camp cancels the applicable program or session. It does not apply to a participant’s absence, withdrawal, suspension, or dismissal.

Behavioral or Safety-Related Dismissal

Discover Fun Camp reserves the right to suspend or dismiss a participant whose behavior threatens safety, substantially disrupts the program, or violates applicable conduct policies.

If a participant is suspended or dismissed for behavioral or safety reasons, tuition and fees remain non-refundable, and DFC is not required to issue a credit or makeup token.

Policy Changes

Discover Fun Camp may update its enrollment, cancellation, refund, credit, makeup-token, and communication policies. Material changes will be communicated to affected registered families and will apply to future registrations and cancellations unless otherwise required by law.

Program-specific registration terms, promotional offers, discounted commitments, and written payment-plan agreements may contain additional requirements. If program-specific terms conflict with this general policy, the terms expressly presented and accepted for that registration will control.
